DARKER THAN NIGHT

When uptown wives receive mysterious gifts from their husbands, they'd better watch out--the night prowler is on the job. In revenge for a long-ago betrayal, the serial killer slaughters couples all over Manhattan. Scott Brick brings chilling clarity to the night prowler's thoughts and to his victims' confusion. His engagement with the story keeps the listener riveted through the progressively disturbing plot twists. Brick's mastery of characterization and dialect stumbles in interrogative sentences, however. He ends every question on a down note.
