MIND GAME

A group of young people have had their minds altered by a research doctor searching for the optimized warrior--one with telepathic and telekinetic powers. Now a faceless but equally powerful enemy is trying to destroy them, starting with Dahlia Le Blanc, perhaps the most powerful of all. Tom Stechschulte has the voice of the toughest of the tough. But he's been given a book that, despite its entertaining ideas, has a limited vocabulary. He's driven to repeat specific words so many times--for instance, the word "body"--that the listener may be tempted to count and thus lose track of the story.
