THE LIES I TELL

Narrators Amanda Dolan and Anna Caputo balance psychological suspense and nuanced character development as they portray social chameleon Meg Williams and intrepid reporter Kat Roberts. Each of the women seeks justice on her own terms. Dolan brings calm maturity and an undercurrent of steely resolve to Meg as she plays the long game while pursuing justice for the man who swindled her mother. Caputo captures Kat's drive to expose Meg's machinations. The mystery opens on a campaign event for political hopeful Ron Ashton, which initiates a sequence of events that count down to election day while bringing long-term plans to fruition.
