SNAKECHARM The Kiesha'ra

by | Read by Norm Lee

Young Adult • 5.25 hrs. • Unabridged • © 2004

Snakes and falcons usually don't travel in the same circles. Neither do snake shape- shifters and falcon shape-shifters, so pairings between the two are just looking for trouble. This is especially the case when a mixed child is on the way and royal houses are involved. Norm Lee's narration, from the point of view of snake shape-shifter Zane, is sharp and clear. He plays an arrogant and disdainful ancient one who is bent on stirring up trouble. Lee relies on timing and tone to accentuate the tension of the plot and the complex relationships among the characters. He sets a quick pace in this fast-moving story.
