UNDER THE OVERPASS

The phrases "God's will be done" and "God will provide" take on new meaning when one is homeless and jobless. This is what the authors experienced when they spent months on the streets as homeless men, playing their guitars and singing praise songs for food money and sleeping in sleeping bags wherever they felt safe. Yankoski's conversational tone is enjoyable but sometimes becomes too casual in its diction, which can make understanding difficult for listeners. He is much clearer when he reads Bible passages.
