Colton, a survivalist reward seeker, is racing to rescue a brilliant engineer with her own survival skills and her teenage daughter from an abusive ex-husband just released from jail. Also on her trail are two quirky yet terrifying assassins for hire. Griffith communicates the intense mother-daughter interactions as they desperately try to stay one step ahead of the people who wish them harm while struggling to connect with each other. Listeners will have trouble putting this audiobook aside as Griffith takes them on a wild and dangerous ride filled with twists and turns and more than a little betrayal.
