This unabridged recording has the feel of an abridgment; long periods of time are skipped, and we're left to wonder about the feelings and motives of crucial characters. Michael Prichard's matter-of-fact narration does nothing to help unravel the convoluted time scheme or clarify the confusing switches in narrative voice and point of view.
