THE BRIGHT FOREVER

On a summer evening in Indiana, Katie's brother reminds his 9-year-old sister that she hasn't returned her library books. He says this in front of their father, who has been attempting to teach Katie the rules of responsibility. So Katie gets on her bicycle and rides to the library, and then tragedy strikes. The producers of this work have realized that the story is more human when read by multiple readers. They chose Susan Deneker, Bo Foxworth, Kirby Heyborne, and Lee Leoncavallo to tell it. Listening to different voices tell the same story fills the gaps and softens the desperation of the characters. The narrators give everyone on these pages a fourth dimension.
