Here's yet another thriller about an ex-Navy SEAL gone undercover to undermine terrorists--but this one has an intriguing twist or two. This deadly operator is of Arab descent, and he's nursing a colossal grudge against the spy agency paper pushers. Reader Robertson Dean provides an unaccented voice for Salem Al Fayad (aka Fade), the Arab-American special ops man of steel, who sounds a bit like a young Dirty Harry. Dean's characterization of Al Fayad's former mentor, Matt Egan, is right on the money: a mid-level government guy who's simultaneously patriotic, vulnerable because of his young family, and fed up with the bureaucracy, as well as Fayad's unyielding bitterness.
