Aimed at the "decent Americans" who are fighting the conservative side of today's culture war, a talk show host and Fox TV contributor identifies the witches he sees in mainstream media content and liberal policy initiatives. He believes these influences are undermining "every value and standard, principle and idea. . . that we hold dear." Both the book and the forward by Sean Hannity are read with an overconfidence reminiscent of Rush Limbaugh, an approach that will be appealing, annoying, or repugnant depending on your place on the culture war continuum. Gallagher's arguments are simplistic. Furthermore, the production would have been more effective and just as entertaining without his smug and authoritarian tone.
