THE GREATEST MAN IN CEDAR HOLE

by | Read by Jeff Woodman

Fiction • 14.25 hrs. • Unabridged • © 2005

As the title indicates, everyone in the depressed town of Cedar Hole liked Robert J. Cutler. Stephanie Doyon's novel, however, isn't concerned about Cutler so much as it is about the effects that the title perception had on the people around him, including the not-so- well-regarded Francis "Spud" Pinkham. Narrator Jeff Woodman re-creates this small town with a cast of voices that match each character, including their shifts in age, in tones that are both believable and recognizable. He also excels at bringing out the gently exaggerated humor of Doyon's writing, leaving you wanting to hear more about this supposedly nowhere burg.
