Barbara Rosenblat's flawless delivery is the perfect complement to MacAlister's outlandish sense of humor. Together they create total cotton-candy entertainment. Aisling Grey delivers a 600-year-old golden dragon statue to customer Aurora Deauxville in Paris, only to find herself the prime suspect in numerous murders. Soon Aisling is muddling through the underworld looking for sexy Drake Vireo, an immortal wyvern dragon who stole the artifact and who is too hot and too unpredictable. Rosenblat presents dialogue and wisecracks at breakneck speed. What seems implausible becomes delightfully funny in Rosenblat's voice . . . especially a demon-dog in the form of a Newfoundland named Jim.
