Officer Charlie Resnick investigates a series of gruesome attacks at a British hospital. At first, the attacks appear to be random, but Resnick quickly determines that they're well planned and victim specific. Ron Keith reads with a balance of intensity and trepidation. Keith's delivery allows listeners to focus upon the minds of the perpetrator and the victims. As it becomes clear that the victims are not random and their injuries are intended to destroy their medical careers, Keith captures Resnick's growing concern about the direction of his investigation, as well as the frenzy that arises as citizens realize the danger that permeates their local community.
