PRINCIPLES OF ECONOMICS

In an upbeat tone, Navarro presents 14 lectures on macro- and microeconomics. Using real-life examples and concrete illustrations, he makes economics a manageable subject to learn and apply to one's life. Included with the CDs is a course guide with lecture objectives, exercises, and reference materials. A course Web site is also a wealth of information. At the end of each lecture, Navarro is asked a series of questions, which he answers thoughtfully. The questions are well planned as often they are the same questions the listener has posed before the end of each lecture. This course could easily complement, or replace, a university course.
