"Rinpoche" is a term of honor in Tibetan Buddhism. Here Sogyal Rinpoche lectures on Tibetan Buddhism to a contempory audience in California. His offering centers on meditation and death. Given the heavy topic, it's curious to add that the lecture is a riot! Sogyal approaches his topic with naive humor, childishly laughing at his own words. Throughout the program, he punctuates thoughts with "Is that clear?" and a hearty chuckle. Quite unexpectedly, his naive humor becomes sophisticated humor.
