SECRETS OF THE WIDOW'S SON

by | Read by Richard M. Davidson

Contemporary Culture • 7.75 hrs. • Unabridged • © 2005

Dan Brown must have deep roots because an entire sub-genre of books speculating about his next work has sprouted. This particular outgrowth is meant to be a reference for those who want the facts in anticipation of Brown's next fiction. Narrator Richard M. Davidson's deep, rich voice glides through the history and brings an authoritative tone to the proceedings. Though the book jacket gives him credit for "performing" the work, this is a misnomer since he reads straightforwardly. Perhaps the performance credit is based on all of the hedge words he must accentuate, like "maybe," "perhaps," "could be," or my favorite, "if Dan Brown actually writes about this topic."
