THE GIRL WHO HEARD DRAGONS

Anne McCaffrey presents three short stories. The title story is a follow-up to Renegades of Pern. Aramina, who can hear dragons, and her family are being chased by those who wish to exploit her powers. Aramina seeks help from the dragons and their riders. "A Real One" is about those who work with real horses, getting them ready for space travel. "If Madam Likes You" tells of the mysterious happenings on a space station where wishes appear to come true. Towers uses a multitude of voices and intonations to differentiate characters, even the dragons, and her reading captures the drama of these other-world adventures.
