ALLY'S WORLD Boys, Brothers and Jelly-belly Dancing

The latest installment in ALLY'S WORLD is as charming and insightful as its predecessors. Ally's two main problems are her mother's continued absence and the pain it causes the family, especially her little brother. Second, Ally has mixed emotions about her friend Billy's new girlfriend. Narrator Daniela Denby-Ashe creates perfect kids, both male and female, and their diverse parents. She captures youthful jealousy, unhappiness, growing pains, and dealing with new emotions between friends. This series excels at profiling painful family dynamics in a way helpful to listeners, with Denby-Ashe sounding like a best friend doing the talking.
