HENRY AND MUDGE AND THE GREAT GRANDPAS

Young Henry and his dog, Mudge, share the pleasure of their company with all the grandpas who live with their own Great-Grandpa Bill. While visiting them one summer day, Henry and Mudge explore the nearby woods and discover a swimming pond that brings delight to all. George Guidall enjoys the outing as much as the grandpas. With care and pleasure he paints images of the skivvies-only event, Mudge as a "live raft", and the warm afterglow of stories and dinner. Guidall's pacing and expression welcome listeners young and old.
