THE PENGUIN WHO WANTED TO FIND OUT

Otto is the latest character in Jill Tomlinson's charming and informative baby animal stories. Since this story concerns a family of Emperor penguins, the fathers are aptly named Nero and Claudius. Baby Otto not only must learn all he needs to know from the shelter of his father's feet, he must also teach the other chicks. The always perfect Maureen Lipman skillfully demonstrates family and social relationships as well as the fun and advantage of teamwork. Lipman's lovely accent adds to the production's appeal as she shows young listeners how animals can learn to work together for the betterment of all.
