COWGIRL KATE AND COCOA

Kate and her horse, Cocoa, are two fine friends. The ordinary moments of the wrangling world and a cowpoke's day depict the pleasures of shared experience. Liz Morton brings deliberate pacing and a Western twang to each chapter. She also brings out the complexity of the characters with personalized portrayals. Kate can be both exasperated as she tends to Cocoa's every need and appreciative as Cocoa helps her to count the cow herd. Cocoa himself is self-centered and impulsive, but he is also loyal to the end. The story of a real cowgirl finding a real cow horse will delight.
