BATTLEFIELD OF THE MIND

After a booming introduction in a strong Southern accent by preacher and author Joyce Meyer, narrator Pat Lentz delivers the rest of the audiobook in a kind, soothing tone. Lentz leads the listener through a series of illuminations on selected Bible passages. First, a passage is read, then it’s interpreted, then the passage is read again, and, finally, a real-life example is put forth to illustrate the passage. Lentz delivers Meyer's message patiently as she offers up spiritual guidance on the path to God's good graces. Her narration is solid, even when the text is repetitious.
