IT'S NOT MY FAULT

Two personable Christian psychologists offer a traditional reminder that all solutions to personal problems must start with the acceptance of personal responsibility. Their message involves embracing the opportunities we have to improve our relationships, overcome our circumstances, and moderate our temperament. They promise that independent action and focused recovery can allow God's goodness to come into our lives. They are especially persistent in rehashing the timeless advice that early childhood experiences need not be the template for our entire lives--that we can control our reactions to past trauma and loss.
