THE STORYTELLER'S BAG

What a pleasure it is to listen to a recording that affords more than incidental time to the setting of scene and mood. As a result, the listener's senses become keen, and ready to absorb the essences and nuances of these timeless tales. From the primeval depths of the ocean, as muskrat strives to bring soil to the world, to the vastness of space, as a lonely star looks for a home on earth, the narrators ebb and flow in their pacing and inflection. They are both enthusiastic in their portrayal of character: the boisterous and cocky namer of creatures, the persistent star, and the mysterious Father Loon.
