HARRIS AND ME A Summer Remembered

Middle school boys will be eager to spend time on the farm with 11-year-old Harris, a foul-mouthed scamp. Paulsen's charming story of post-WWII backwoods adventuring is ably augmented by Steven Boyer, who builds anticipation before each of Harris's escapades. In his warm voice, he keeps listeners wondering if Harris and his city boy cousin will survive the pig attack and their attempts to motorize a bike with a washing machine motor.
