MISSING YOU

The last of the 1-800-Where-R-You series concludes the story of teenager Jessica Mastrani, who became psychic after having been struck by lightning. Now attending Julliard, she has lost her powers and is also coping with post-traumatic stress after working for the FBI in war-torn Afghanistan. Johanna Parker aptly depicts adolescent emotions. Despite the implausible plot, Parker's portrayal of a confused teenager is believable and engaging, keeping listeners absorbed in the performance. As the story intensifies, we want Jess to bring down the villain who has been exploiting underage girls, to reconnect with her boyfriend, and ultimately to have the courage to follow her heart and find happiness after years of struggle.
