BOO'S DINOSAUR

When Boo befriends a dinosaur, her parents agree to allow her to keep her pet. It takes great patience for older brother Sammy to play along with Boo's imaginary friend as they look for a special book to read to the dinosaur at the library, climb in backyard trees, and even fly! Greta Byrum transports the listener into the world of childhood magnificently. As Boo, she is playful, cheerful, and full of the assuredness of a young child. As Boo's parents, Byrum never betrays the voices of adults who are going along with the game of pretend. And as Sammy, her voice has the tone of a sibling humoring his sister but also the appreciation of someone who has had the same experience of imaginary fun.
