MEASURING OUR SUCCESS Sunday Mornings in Plains: Bible Study with Jimmy Carter

This collection shows another side of President Jimmy Carter as he leads Bible study in Sunday school at Maranatha Baptist Church in Plains, Georgia. Carter's style is casual as he talks with parishioners and visitors from around the country before the lectures. His delivery of his discussions may be low-key, but he shows passion for the scriptures and for biblical knowledge. Listeners will be reminded that Carter is a former president when he touches on politics, using the principles of St. Thomas Aquinas to question the moral grounds for fighting in Iraq.
