OGRE IN A TOGA And Other Perverse Verses

Author Geoffrey McSkimming reads these short, silly poems and limericks with plenty of funny voices, complemented by abundant sound effects and snippets of music. Clocking in at just an hour long, this is one of those audiobooks that kids will get hooked on and parents will end up listening to over and over and over--luckily, they're likely to be as amused as their kids. Listeners may know McSkimming from his Cairo Jim series of audiobooks--there's even a poem "written by" Cairo Jim included in this collection. There's a lot of Australian vocabulary that will be unfamiliar to most young American listeners, but they'll probably be too busy giggling at the unlikely rhymes and rude jokes to notice.
