KILLER WEEKEND

Thanks to a spirited performance by Christopher Lane, here's a thriller you can finish in a weekend. Sheriff Walt Fleming must protect a presidential candidate who has come to Sun Valley for a high-powered conference. A hired assassin is also in town and is determined to kill her. At the same time, Fleming must deal with numerous problems heaped on him by local residents--a woman's death under questionable circumstances, his nephew's arrest, and the need to track an elusive cougar. Because the story is almost too much to follow, listeners come to appreciate Lane's deft manner, clear pronunciation, and much needed pauses between scenes.
