THE DOUBLE AGENTS

by | Read by Paul Hecht

Mystery & Suspense • 12 hrs. • Unabridged • © 2007

You can tell there's been an additional hand at work in this latest Men at War installment from W.E.B. Griffin. The writing isn't as deft as that of the master. But Paul Hecht prevails as he sails through the plot. In this segment, OSS Operative Dick Canidy must use disinformation to convince the Nazis that the European invasion will not start at the French coast. Hecht's German, French, and Cockney accents are near perfect as the authors shift from Axis to Allied headquarters. Notably missing, however, are the usual entertaining escapades of Canidy and a coterie of characters. Nonetheless, thanks to Hecht, Canidy's banter will keep listeners entertained.
