A WOMAN IN CHARGE

Hillary Clinton is an intriguing biographical subject--having held a supporting role for years before she emerged as a major political figure. But the spotlight, for better or worse, was always there, shining brighter and brighter as campaigns and controversies continued. Dick Rodstein comes across as a kindly professor reading the story of Clinton's life from childhood to the present. Thanks to his effective narration and Bernstein's organized, well-researched, and balanced approach, this is an enjoyable and educational production. Rodstein brings across Senator Clinton's triumphs and troubles with clarity. He uses slight accents for various politicians and other people, and never gets in the way, letting the story come across with just the right amount of emotion.
