WHERE MY HEART BELONGS

Amy Halbert returns home after a twelve-year absence. Like the Prodigal Son, she took her inheritance and left her family--breaking their hearts. They had no communication through the years. Now she has returned home, wanting to make amends, and finds her sister bitter and angry. This engrossing story is filled with surprising twists. Themes of love, redemption, and faith are strong. Narrator Jill Shellabarger capably distinguishes characters and dramatizes a variety of emotions. Especially vivid are the passages of weeping.
