BETRAYAL IN NAPLES

Jim Wolf decides to step out from his safe, predictable life for a few days in Naples. Little does he realize, when he meets ex-love Louisa, the dangerous world he will enter. Narrator Andrew Wincott is splendid in delivering emotional Italian and restrained English accents as he conveys dangerous Mafia family ties and Neapolitan justice. Jim rekindles his romance and attempts to help a severely abused woman before he returns home to his new job. Griffiths and Wincott skillfully use Naples, with its forbidding mystery, constant traffic, and old enmities, as a major character in the story.
