WHEN GENERATIONS COLLIDE

Given that this title is about differing perspectives of the world and is written by two authors from different generations, choosing to have two narrators was a good idea. Individually, Ruth Ann Phimister and Scott Shina deliver the exposition, stories, and jokes with appropriately varied pacing. Furthermore, the juxtaposition of the two voices really drives the points home--and emphasizes the effort involved in intergenerational communication. The book is a bit wordy, piling on detail after detail to make sure listeners "get it," but otherwise this is a useful and enjoyable introduction to the topic.
