Bill Lucas divides his compendium of tips on how to think, learn, and create better into many brief sections. He also provides reviews, acronyms, and mnemonics to help listeners remember them. All of this makes POWER UP YOUR MIND a good fit for audio. What's more, the energy in Francis Greenslade's voice is a good match for Lucas's style. Greenslade sounds full of zest, much as Lucas wants one's learning experiences to be. Greenslade finds the pleasure in Lucas's lines and recounts stories and instructions with equal facility. There are, however, a few instances of odd pacing, when Greenslade's pauses match neither idea nor style.
