Australian writer Steve Toltz's debut novel is a touching and hilarious story of a father and son recounting their incredible travels around the globe while trying to reconnect with each other. Voiced by Aussie Craig Baldwin, the character of Jasper assumes a reflective tone in looking back at his childhood adventures. His delivery is solid and believable, commanding Toltz's writing with a firm grip. Voicing the character of the father, Colin McPhillamy steals the show with a performance that engages listeners from the start. Everything about his narration seems underplayed and true.
