Click and Clack are back, this time in a handy “best of” volume! This "field guide" is a collection of some of the most bizarre calls the Massachusetts duo have taken on their NPR radio show, “Car Talk,” including one from a man who plans to walk across Death Valley and needs to know what effect that kind of heat will have on his vehicle, and one from a poor young woman who (on the air) confesses to having "melted the engine" in her father's brand new car by sticking black electrical tape over the “check engine” light and driving to Phoenix. There's nothing unnecessary or fancy about this volume—it's just three-and-a-half hours of Boston-accented, wisecracking, philosophizing Click and Clack.
