TWISTED

The first in a new series of thrillers centers on ex-FBI Agent Sloane Burbank. With a small cast of narrators assuming various roles, the story is well realized, and the characters are each as unique as the last. As Burbank, Carol Monda reads with a powerful, feminine voice that captures the essence of the protagonist. Kevin Orton assumes the role of Burbank's ex-lover and new partner, Derek Parker. He narrates in a deep tone that brings an air of suspense and intrigue to the story. The shifts in tone and voice never slow the story down and serve to increase the tension at the climax.
