During the darkest moments of WWII, Britons drew strength from gathering around their radios to hear their prime minister. Churchill later referred to his morale-boosting speeches as "the lion's roar." All of his famous phrases are here in this recording—from "This was their finest hour" to "We will fight on the beaches . . . " They’re edited and introduced by Sir Winston's grandson, who also delivers many of them in his strong, clear voice. The real treat, however, is the archival recordings of the statesman himself.
