Who is behind the bombings and threats at the Human Rights conference in Germany? Who is out to kill the President of the United States? Is any character capable of telling the truth, or even recognizing it? Herrmann provides a flawless performance of multilingual European characters who range from C.I.A. operatives to German and Italian terrorists. As tension mounts, so does the terseness of Herrmann's narration.
