FOUL PLAY

On the day that Amy Klasse loses her job on children's TV to Red, a dancing rooster, she also meets gorgeous veterinarian Jake Elliott. It’s love at first sight. But when Red disappears while being treated by Jake, Amy is the number one suspect. Hounded by news crews, Amy and Jake attempt to find the real culprit as they fall more and more in love. This cozy mystery is much more romance than crime, and a little short on plot. But C.J. Critt narrates with warmth and humor, giving to each slightly larger-than-life character a voice so redolent of back story that the listener smiles throughout.
