John Hagee's unshakable faith comes through well in this sturdy invitation to grow with God into one's life's challenges. Solidly anchored to biblical teaching, his advice is liberally illustrated with scripture verses and concise personal stories from his ministry. God promises to guide us and give us the provisions we need, Hagee says, but we have to have faith in His goodness and be "in the problem"—engage honestly with our responsibility for the problem we're dealing with. Though the author's confidence in his teaching can sometimes come across as righteous, Jon Gauger's narration gives the book a soft and steady glow. His calm interpretation has just enough cheerfulness to keep the tone upbeat instead of making the author sound imperious or out of touch.
