The combination of author and narrator in this inspirational suspense novel is outstanding. The riveting plot revolves around Catherine O'Rourke, a reporter who has been charged as a serial killer, and her high-powered defense lawyer, Quinn Newberg, who tries to prove her innocent in spite of all the evidence pointing in her direction. He later changes her plea to guilty by reason of insanity. But is she? The masterful delivery by Tom Stechschulte keeps listeners on the edge of their seats. He brings intensity and excitement to the courtroom scenes. The plot keeps one guessing until the very end, and the narration brings all the tension one would hope for in a thriller.
