MITTEN STRINGS FOR GOD

The subtitle of this audiobook, "Reflections for Mothers in a Hurry," could have been "Slow Down to Find Peace," "Stop and Smell the Roses," or "They're Only Young Once." But instead of time-worn clichés, Kenison offers a challenge to slow the hectic pace consuming our lives. She reports that since her family decreased their activities, they are closer and more peaceful. Kenison's serious, even reading sounds incongruous with some of her advice such as blowing bubbles in the rain or serving maple syrup on snow.
