MY SISTERS, O MY SISTERS

Two studio readings by May Sarton, given twenty-four years apart (1960 and 1984), provide wonderful contrast in the style and focus of the poetry and in the readings. They give a glimpse into the development of this "writing woman," as she calls herself, whose voice has been important to many American women from the 1960's to the present.
