THE PIGMAN'S LEGACY

LEGACY is a sequel to Zindel's 1968 classic, THE PIGMAN. Young Lorraine and John are spooked when they discover that another lonely old man is living in their friend the Pigman's home. But they also feel that by helping the new resident, they might have a chance to make up for what happened to their dear friend. Narrators Eden Riegel and Charlie McWade narrate alternating chapters, which reflect the alternating points of view of the novel. Their voices enrich the moving story and make it seem more up to date. As the young pair make the Colonel's last days happy, he helps them feel loved and appreciated in a way they don’t feel by their own families.
