A ROGUE OF MY OWN

by | Read by Rosalyn Landor

Romantic Fiction • 9 hrs. • Unabridged • © 2009

Rebecca Marshall isn't terribly excited by her appointment to Queen Victoria's court, and she recoils at the missions of intrigue assigned to her. But any romance novel turns the most dastardly rogue into the most desirable lover, and this book runs true to form. Rosalyn Landor brings a light touch to the light story, imbuing Rebecca with the requisite tenderness backed by steel. Her portrayal of Becca's boss, Lady Sarah, carries just enough sharpness to make her believable. Rogue Rupert, on the other hand, receives a stronger treatment, in keeping with his manly good deeds and noble heart, despite the cavalier exterior he portrays to Rebecca and his mother. While the listener will not find surprises here, she will be pleasantly entertained. R.L.L. © AudioFile 2009, Portland, Maine [Published: SEPTEMBER 2009]
