Henrietta Mears's classic handbook on the Holy Bible has stood the test of time for over half-a-century, and now it finally gets an audio treatment, providing comprehensive overviews of all 66 books. Along the way, she does more than simply state biblical facts; she also offers applications and extrapolations culled from her years of experience as a Sunday school teacher. Kelly Dolan's and Anna-Lisa Horton's voices set off individual chapters, with Dolan carrying his parts off without a hitch. Horton's warm Australian accent and pronunciations sometimes contradict Dolan's. Still, the use of two distinct readers keeps the flow of the book moving.
