SHIELD'S LADY

In this futuristic fantasy, beautiful Lady Sariana Dayne is a business consultant to the Avylyns, the jewel smith clan from the Western Continent of Windarra. She must find a rare stolen tool. To succeed, she enlists the unwilling help of "a shield," Lord Gryph Chassyn. Shields are the legendary mercenaries who fight border bandits. They can marry any woman outside their clan if she can open the shield's weapon kit. Feisty Sariana qualifies, and the romantic sparks fly. Natalie Ross's British accent for Sariana works well. Likewise, her deep, rich baritone for Gryph is distinct and enjoyable. Ross's solid performance engages, drawing listeners into this lost world with its exotic history, traditions, and mysteries.
